Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, renowned for its year-round oceanfront elegance within an iconic social club setting, has been bestowed with the rare honor of two Michelin Keys by the Michelin Guide. This exclusive selection, designed to recommend to the world the most singular and authentic travel experiences, celebrates the hotel’s excellence in design, architecture, service, personality, and its significant contribution to the neighbourhood. As one of only 124 hotels recognized in the United States, with only four two-key hotels in Florida, these keys symbolize the exceptional and personalized stays uniquely crafted for guests of Four Seasons at The Surf Club.

Daniela Trovato, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club, shares, “We are all so proud to be awarded this esteemed Michelin Key accolade. This is such a unique and special place, and that is with immense gratitude to an incredible team that has hospitality in their hearts, whose commitment and enthusiasm create a stay experienced only at Four Seasons at The Surf Club. While they make it look effortless, the amount of passion and craft that it takes to turn the ordinary into extraordinary is truly admirable. It is that level of devotion that forms the stories our guests retell for years.”

Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club first made its way onto the Michelin Guide’s map for offering a dreamy mix of both sun and serenity along the shores of Surfside, Florida. The Michelin Guide’s Point Of View: “Just a few miles up the road from Miami Beach proper, in the upscale enclave of Surfside, is the legendary The Surf Club, an ornate Jazz Age gem whose doors first opened in 1930.

Today, the original club remains, augmented by modern structures containing residences and the Four Seasons Hotel — a typically luxe and uncommonly stylish luxury hotel, complete with beachside cabanas and a lavish spa, from the venerable hospitality brand. The atmosphere is insular, more luxe hideaway than social nexus, though the restaurants, the Italian-flavoured Lido Restaurant and Terrace and Thomas Keller’s one Michelin-starred The Surf Club Restaurant, are destinations unto themselves.” The Surf Club is also home to the world-class Champagne Bar.

Nadim Ashi, founder of Fort Partners and owner of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences at The Surf Club and the South Florida portfolio of Four Seasons properties, adds, “We are honored to be recipients of the first edition of the prestigious Michelin Key. It is a reminder that dedication to service and attention to detail are relevant and important. I am grateful to every member of the team for their commitment to excellence.  As we strive to expand into new territories, we will continue to focus on creating extraordinary experiences with much care and dedication.”

Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club was also selected to join the Michelin Guide Florida 2024, where the Crudo Bar is “a perfect start” to breezy Italian coastal cooking and “there is nothing better than a seat on the ocean view terrace.”

As a two-key hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club is “somewhere truly unique and exceptional in every way, where a memorable experience is always guaranteed.”
